Achachi offers an impressive variety of international foods. The store has refrigerated and frozen items as well as fresh, packaged, and canned goods. Staff members are helpful and friendly, as well.

They are very bad to take order the lady work on the counter and have no knowledge how to treat customer and food serving also is bad they have no stuff to give food in right way to costumer also one more thing they also ask to customer take his or her trash in garbage they don’t used to clean byself and they really bad if you people want try you can go and check but it’s really bad behaviour and bad customer service.

I moved here from NYC, and was missing true authentic food from other countries. Went here last week, and pick up some things to make chicken masala (curry) and the vibe, and smell and hospitality was incredible. Highly recommend

It has exorbitantly overpriced items, many of which are often expired. Most items also do not have price tags. But the worst thing is that when you confront the owner in the shop or online through reviews, he will be extremely disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional. He will either tell you not to visit his store anymore, say something bad about your upbringing or character, or just outright blame you for lying or being sponsored by other businesses. We should at least not give such stores business anymore, if not report their bad practices to the authorities. Note: I know the owner will leave some mean response, so I'll edit the review if/when it receives a response. (Edit: Your malpractices show either you haven't been fed by yours or you are way too greedy. And yes, you and your haven of overpriced, expired goods is a waste. Guess who needs to go back?)

Be aware of high price and expired goods. I saw a paneer pack with fungus (attached pic) and no expiration date whatsoever. I assume the shop had wiped the expiration date with alcohol and I think so because another pack of paneer within expiration date had a printed date. Vegetables are always wrinkled and definitely not fresh. Everyone knows how overpriced they are. So a one star which is an actually the least possible or else I would give this shop a zero star.

Love the diversity in spices! There are a few international markets in town but Achachi is the only one that carries West African staples and goods. Such a necessary addition after years of trying to find substitutes. So glad they're here!!

I have purchased Ashirwaad Whole Wheat Flour This is one of the worst brand. I bought it from Achachi. Its not even good to make dough and you cannot make bread (chapati) with it. I am a user of whole grain flour for last 35 years. This is one of the worst brand I have even seen and also i am sure this is not the whole wheat flour, either its expired or it have some other ingredients like maida. But this is my worst experience. I would request to everyone please don’t buy this brand. Also there is no expiry or packing date mentioned on this item. Its not matter of wastage of money its matter of wastage of time and of mental stress. I will try to convince this seller that he will not sell this item. Again i am saying that this is worst brand. And the worst thing is the attitude of the owner.

This is the only place in Athens, Georgia, USA where you can find everything needed to cook authentic Indian food. They stock a wide variety of spices, wheat flour, rice, maida, rawa, fresh fruits, green vegetables, Haldiram namkeen, idli-dosa batter, paneer, and more. While the selection is excellent, there are a couple of drawbacks—prices are on the higher side, and there are no price tags, so you won’t know the cost until checkout. For those looking for a more budget-friendly alternative, Fooks Food, an Asian grocery store nearby, carries many essentials used in Indian cooking at lower prices. That said, this store is truly a lifesaver for Indians in Athens! If anyone knows of any other Indian grocery stores in the area, please share. It would be greatly appreciated!
